NBA GWAGWALADA BRANCH CONGRATULATES THE NEWLY ELEVATED SENIOR ADVOCATES OF NIGERIA (SANs)

The Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch (Eagle Bar), heartily congratulates the 67 distinguished legal practitioners elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and sworn in by the Honourable Chief Justice of Nigeria. This remarkable achievement represents a significant milestone in the careers of the successful candidates and a moment of immense pride for the Nigerian legal profession. It reflects years of professional dedication, intellectual rigour, distinguished advocacy, and commitment to the administration of justice. The rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria is one of the highest distinctions attainable in the Nigerian legal profession. Beyond the prestige and recognition it confers, however, it carries an enduring responsibility to uphold the highest standards of professional ethics, strengthen the rule of law, defend the independence of the judiciary, promote access to justice, and inspire excellence among younger members of the Bar. As these distinguished colleagues assume their places within the Inner Bar, the Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch (Eagle Bar), expresses its confidence that their elevation will further enrich legal practice, strengthen the administration of justice, contribute to the development of Nigerian jurisprudence, and deepen public confidence in the legal profession. We trust that this honour will serve not merely as recognition of past accomplishments, but also as a renewed call to leadership, integrity, mentorship, and service. The privilege of wearing the silk must continually find expression in exemplary professional conduct, courageous advocacy, intellectual distinction, and an enduring commitment to justice. The Branch further encourages the newly elevated Senior Advocates of Nigeria to remain worthy ambassadors of the legal profession, mentors to aspiring practitioners, defenders of constitutionalism, and champions of justice, fairness, and the rule of law. To each of the newly elevated Senior Advocates of Nigeria, we extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes for an illustrious and impactful tenure at the Inner Bar. May this distinguished recognition open new avenues for greater contributions to the legal profession, the Nigerian nation, and humanity. Congratulations to our distinguished colleagues. May your elevation mark the beginning of even greater achievements and enduring contributions to the advancement of justice in Nigeria. Signed: N. D. Abdulsalam, Esq.
